*Through the generosity of Harold Varmus, Nobel Prize recipient, we were able to establish the endowed Harold Varmus, MD P&S ’66 Global Scholars Fund. The Varmus Global Scholars Fund will provide stipends for exceptional medical students who seek to conduct novel original global health research projects at an international site for eight weeks to one year through the Global Pop Research Programs.
