Olufemi Olatidoye
Olufemi Olatidoye is a native of Wilmington, NC and now a medical student at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons. Prior to enrolling at VP&S, Olufemi received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from NC A&T State University in May 2021. He was heavily involved with the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students for all four years of college, and he now serves as the Mentorship Co-Chair for the Black and Latinx Student Organization (BALSO) at VP&S. He enjoys inspiring others to strive towards academic excellence and professional achievement. Furthermore, Olufemi plans to work to mitigate health disparities that are prevalent in underserved communities as well as increase Black representation within medicine and other STEM fields. In his free time, Olufemi enjoys playing basketball, working out, exploring NYC, and spending time with friends and family.
