Discovery of the Drug-able Malarial Parasite Genome

In work funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, our Consortium of U.S. and European labs is discovering novel drug targets in P. falciparum and using that knowledge to define the drug-able genome, as part of a longer strategy to identify antimalarials whose modes of action are not compromised by existing resistance.
